ETC’s Sterilization Systems Group Announces $3.5 Million in New Contracts
Southampton, PA, June 11, 2009. Environmental Tectonics Corporation’s (OTC Bulletin Board: ETCC) (“ETC” or the “Company”) Sterilization Systems Group (SSG) today announced the award of four new projects from new and repeat customers.
The first project is for a major University for a large industrial, sectional autoclave. The second project is for a large Control System upgrade to a competitor’s sterilizer, bringing the customer into compliance with FDA requirements. The third is for a portable field sterilization system for a Military client and the fourth is for two large industrial 100% Ethylene Oxide (EtO) Sterilization Systems. The approximate value of these contracts is $ 3.5 million.
Dave Mitchell, SSG’s Business Unit Manager, stated, “While the economy remains somewhat uncertain in many industries, we continue to see strong sales based upon ETC’s unique product offering and technical capabilities. In particular, we have found that upgrading existing equipment hardware and control software has become an attractive alternative to our clients when their capital budgets have been slashed or eliminated entirely. ETC’s multiple capabilities and flexibility allow us to better serve a changing market.”
