ETC's Sterilization Systems Group Announces Successful Installation of it’s Technical Assistance Services Group

Southampton, Pa, January 6, 2009: - Environmental Tectonics Corporation´s (Amex: ETC) ("ETC" or the "Company") Sterilization Systems Group (SSG) announced today the successful completion of a specialized process development project within it´s newly installed Technical Assistance Services Group. A specialized sterilization cycle was developed for a unique product critical to massive wound care. The project involved thermophysical analysis of product constituents, calculating all process variables, sterilization lab studies for development through production and complete IQ/OQ/PQ certification of existing lab sterilizer to support stability documentation submittals to the FDA and British Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency.

The project spanned six months of analysis, cycle development and batch production to a very successful conclusion.
